Here’s how the process works:
1. Consultation
We start with a chat about your vision. You can send us reference pictures, themes, or even just the mood you’d like to capture (dark academia, gothic romance, cottage-core, etc.). Together we’ll agree on the tone and subject for the piece.
2. Artwork Creation
Once we’ve set the direction, we’ll create a digital artwork to fit your idea. You’ll see a preview and we’ll refine it until you’re happy with the image.
3. Frame Selection
We’ll suggest a selection of characterful vintage and antique frames from our collection, each one chosen to complement your artwork.
4. Colour & Finish
You’ll choose the final finish, whether that’s leaving the frame in its timeworn state or giving it a painted, waxed, or gilded treatment to fit your space.
5. Mock-Ups & Quote
We’ll prepare mock-ups so you can see the artwork within your chosen frame and provide a full price quote. Once approved, your bespoke piece will be created and carefully finished.
